President Kevin Calderwood and Sister Sydnee Butler Calderwood will arrive in the NY New York South Mission to replace President William and Sister Christine Nelson on June 29, 2012.
President Calderwood was born in Orem, Utah. He has been serving as a Sunday School teacher. He is a former stake president and counselor, bishop, bishopric counselor, ward mission leader, Young Men President and missionary in the Scotland Edinburgh mission. He was the former president of Vivisimo, Inc. prior to its recent sale to IBM. He was born to Bobby Earl and Ellen Marie Carroll Calderwood.
Sister Calderwood serves as Young Women president in her ward and is a former counselor in Stake and Primary presidencies, Relief Society president and counselor, Counselor in a Young Women presidency, gospel doctrine teacher and Cub Scout leader. Sister Calderwood was born in Fruita, Colorado to Stephen Lee and Enid Peacock Butler.
President and Sister Calderwood will be meeting all of the missionaries at a conference held at the Rego Park Chapel in Queens. The missionaries will be able to meet their whole family. They have six children, one on who will start at BYU on June 30, when his parents enter the MTC, three who are married, and two daughters 15 and 8 years old who will be coming with them on their mission. Everybody is so excited to meet them!
